My guest this week on the Over 50 Health & Wellness podcast is Steve Mansfield. Steve is the 63 year old creator of the Mansfield Method, which focuses on longevity and elite level fitness. Steve grew up in rural eastern Kentucky where he spent his boyhood being outdoors. Most of us can relate to a time when our parents would shoo us out of the house and tell us to go play, and to be back in time for dinner or before dark. Steve got into martial arts at an early age and played spots in school and was a decent athlete – he went on to be a decathlete in college. A knee injury eventually ended his decathlon career, but shortly after he found a new passion – rock climbing.
